Building things that matter.

I started writing software because I wanted to build things that worked, really worked. That same instinct now drives everything I do, from shipping apps to training models to improving infrastructure.

Software first.
Infrastructure second.
Always building.

I learned programming through a mix of university coursework and a lot of self-teaching outside the classroom. University gave me the foundations, but most of the real learning happened on nights and weekends building projects and figuring things out on my own.

Whether building an iOS app or training an ML model, the drive was the same: I wanted to understand systems deeply enough to build them myself.

That software background is what led to my IT role. I came in with the mindset of an engineer, approaching every problem systematically and digging until I understood the root cause.

The Foundation
School foundations in CS paired with self-taught passion projects. Learning by building, not just studying.
02
Machine Learning
Trained an MNIST classifier from scratch in PyTorch by understanding the math behind it, not just the code.
03
Infrastructure Engineering
Hands-on IT across networking, system administration, endpoint management, and internal communications, always digging to the root cause.

MNIST Linear Classifier

Implemented a complete ML pipeline by understanding the math behind it, not just the code. Cross-entropy loss, backpropagation, the bias-variance tradeoff: all derived and understood from first principles.

🔌
Networking
Physical & logical network tracing
Production
Port Mapping Across Switch Hops
Traced and mapped ports across network switches through multiple switch hops, both physically with a toner/probe and logically with DNS resolution.
Ethernet Connectivity Diagnosis
Identified and resolved ethernet connectivity problems affecting laptops; setting the address of the gateway fixed it.
Switch Documentation
Documented port mappings for the core and distribution switches.
⚙️
System Administration
Active Directory, Intune, PC Imaging
Field-Tested
Active Directory / OU Management
Managed devices and organizational units within an Active Directory environment.
Intune & Domain Troubleshooting
Resolved domain and Intune-related issues affecting users on new devices.
PC Imaging & Replacement
Handled computer replacements via imaging. Oftentimes had to shrink the partition before taking the image for efficiency, requiring a defragment first.
🖥️
System Troubleshooting
Windows repair & hardware diagnosis
Advanced
Boot File Repair (Win10 32-bit)
Repaired low-level Windows 10 boot file corruption on 32-bit systems.
Hardware Performance Diagnosis
Diagnosed and resolved performance issues due to insufficient hardware.
Bluetooth Connectivity
Troubleshot a variety of bluetooth connectivity failures across multiple machines.
📺
Internal Communications
Signage, intranet, and media production
Multi-Domain
Digital Media Production
Produced digital media for internal communications.
Yodeck & LED Signage
Configured Yodeck displays and LED poster systems for HR and Marketing.
